Week 16: Painting Cute Colorful Birds

On my earlier artist dates, my main focus was on pleasure and not so much on art, but off course, pleasure and art often go together.

The idea for this date came from a WhatsApp-group I’m in. Other members from the group painted birds following the instructions from a relatively short (about 20 minutes) YouTube video. The birds looked really cute!

Little materials were necessary: water color paint, brushes, paper, water and a device for playing the video. It was very easy to follow the instructions, I paused the video a few times to give myself all the time I needed/wanted for the painting.

I was really happy with the result: aren’t my birds cute!
