Week 17: Sewing Easter Bunnies

The inspiration for this date came from a creativity group on Facebook. I have 3 grown-up children, but I still want to spoil them with chocolate eggs on Easter.

I googled, searched Pinterest, and finally made my own pattern for sewing the body and ears of the Easter bunny. The sewing was very easy. The most difficult part was pulling the ears through the hole in the bead. Of course I ate a few eggs while filling the bunnies.

I noticed that it’s more difficult for me to treat the time for my dates as sacred when I’m at home. I’m more easily distracted and side-tracked. It’s a pity because lots of activities can easily be done at home.

I included the pattern for sewing the bunny below. A 0,5 cm seam allowance is included in the pattern. The beads with which the head is made, are 5 cm in diameter.

Happy Easter to you all!
